Stephen Covey published The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People in 1989. For those of us who read it, it changed the way we interacted with others, with ourselves, and with how we strove to grow, and achieve balance in personal and professional lives. Decades later, I feel the weight today, perhaps more than ever, of how important these lessons remain. >MB

Hi
Communication has devolved since the first computer made it s debut
in my opinion.
Replacing natural learning with print, talking
on the phone as opposed to silent, often misinterpreted, no inflections texting, sending a lazy e-card, instead of actually thoughtfully picking out a card and mailing it, staring like zombies at our ” crackbar” cellphones has become a lose lose for real, soulful, satisfying interaction.
Our attention span had been manipulated into grasshopper minds.
